RESEARCH PAPER

 

Research Paper- A 5 page research paper will be due upon arrival  and it will be worth 10 grades.  This paper must be typed not handwritten.  This paper will be on a ballet (examples : The Nutcracker, Giselle, Paquita, Swan Lake,  Don Quixote, La Sylphide, ect…).    This research paper must be a total of 5 full pages in length, double spaced with a one inch margin.

Research Paper Breakdown

 

Page #1- Title page with the title of the report in the center and a picture of the ballet you are researching.  Your last name, first name, period, and date on the bottom right hand corner.

 

Pages 2, 3, & 4 - content, the material you are researching.

 

Page 5- bibliography page, cite all the sources you used. Where did you get your information?

 

CRITERIA FOR AN A+ REPORT

   

Who are the characters?

Describe the characters?

What is the story line/? Include the plot

What style of ballet is it? (Romantic, Classical, Modern)

What costumes do they wear?

Who is the composer for the music score?

 

 

A bibliography stating all the sources used must be included in the report.  If the bibliography is not included the report will receive 20 zeros.

If the report is not turned in on time, for everyday that it is late a letter grade will be dropped!
