RESEARCH PAPER

 

Research Paper- A Five page research paper will be due upon your return and it will be worth 10 grades.  This paper must be typed not handwritten.  This paper will be on a dance style of your choice (examples: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Flamenco, Tango, Samba, ect…).    This research paper must be a total of 5 full pages in length, double spaced with a one inch margin using only 12 font.

 

 

Research Paper Breakdown

 

Page #1- Title page with the title of report in the center.  Your last, first name, period, and date on the bottom right hand corner.  A picture or drawing of the person in the front. (5 points)

 

Pages 2 through 4- context, the material you are researching. (40 points)

 

Page #5- bibliography page, cite all the sources you used. Where did you get your information?

(5 points)

 

CRITERIA FOR AN A+ REPORT

    

They history behind the dance style? 

Who does this type of dance? 

Where did it originate? 

Where can I see this type of dance? 

What costumes are usually worn for this style of dance?

Any other important information you might find.

 

 

A bibliography stating all the sources used must be included in the report.  If the bibliography is not included the report will receive 20 zeros.

If the report is not turned in on time, for everyday that it is late a letter grade will be dropped!
